Hiking in Ermelo is a great way to enjoy nature. There are many different walking routes through beautiful old forests, extensive heathlands and past castles and country estates.

Work is underway to create a comprehensive network of walking routes on the Veluwe. (Parts of) networks have already been set up in several municipalities. In Ermelo, too, work is in full swing and signs with the selection points can already be seen in various places. You can use these selection points to walk from one selection point to another. You also have the option of following a route with a specific colour.
