Nationaal Hippisch Centrum

Various activities and events, often free, are organised all year round at the National Equestrian Centre (Nationaal Hippisch Centrum) in Ermelo. The National Dressage Championships, the World Championships
for Young Dressage Horses and Horse Events will take place here in 2016 too.

Equestrian Heart
The Netherlands’ equestrian heart lies in Ermelo! This is the home of the National Equestrian Centre, which includes the KNHS Centre, the headquarters of the Dutch equestrian sport association. The accommodation for equestrian sport is magnificent with extensive facilities such as an eventing ground and marathon ground with natural obstacles, indoor halls, stables, paddocks and a horse walker. Everyone is welcome in the friendly Brasserie de Ruif bar and restaurant for a drink, snack or lunch with a view of the arena. Whether you are taking part in championships, instruction weeks or you just want to exercise your horse at the centre, anything is possible.
