Brasserie Staverden is located in the castle garden of Staverden estate. Staverden is located in the municipality of Ermelo and, with 52 inhabitants, is ‘the smallest town in the Netherlands’. Brasserie Staverden opened its doors in 2009 and has since been awarded ‘Best terrace in the Netherlands’ and named a top location by the ANWB.
The Brasserie is open to everyone and provides its guests with coffee, lunch, high tea and dinner. The kitchen brigade works with seasonal and regional products and also uses products from its own vegetable garden and greenhouse. Thus, guests can enjoy game tastings in autumn, asparagus in spring and delicious salads, meat and fish dishes from the immediate surroundings in the summer months. Local and seasonal offerings are anticipated.
From the Brasserie, various activities are organised throughout the year on the estate; culinary tastings, walks, live music performances, events, children's activities and workshops.
Brasserie Staverden is the perfect place for a wedding. There are certified wedding planners to guide the wedding day from start to finish. The bride and groom can celebrate a church blessing in Staverden's nearby chapel. The civil wedding can be organised outdoors, as can the wedding dinner and party. Guests also like to celebrate their birthday or anniversary. This can be done in one of the two indoor spaces; the Serre or Orangerie or on one of the terraces that can be fully roofed over and heated.
